The widget is updated and redone to hopefully help finding files quicker. It's more organized then before. I split the two seasons into individual folders. So everything relating to that specific season is in that folder. All links are updated and working.

Another thing. It seems Sword-Shana-lily was reset...I don't know the full details, however all the links were back to mihd and yastorage, and the widget was reset. I redone all the links and the widget. So hopefully all the links are working now. Zaira might need to double check the music album links since I believe they were changed back to bit torrent. Hopefully this will be corrected soon.

*SURPRISE!* - As most of you know, I tend to give everyone surprises if I delay or slack off in doing my job. And this is no exception, I did not forget my promise to everyone. It was done as a joint effort from a couple of groups. So enjoy!

f

Be aware that the widget might not be working for awhile. I'm currently redoing a couple of things and I have to take it down to update the coding for it. You will still have access to the widget via the Sword-Shana-lily FanGroup page, however do note that it might be taken down at any time within the next 24 hours for an overhaul. The alternative links will still be online throughout the change. They will NOT be taken down or replaced at any time during the change.

Sorry for the sudden announcement, and for any inconvenience this might cause. I promise it will be done quickly for those that wish to access our downloadable content via the widget.

f

hmm...I guess I could try what you normal people call a "welcome message"...

Hey zaira!
I'm sure you will enjoy your time here at Minitokyo....(blah blah blah)
Theres tons of nice people here that are always willing to help out newcomers...(hmm..?)
I'm sure you will make lots of friends in no time! :D
If you need anything, please let me know! I'll always be here....friend...(>.<) ~!

(Woah that was weird...Need to watch what I say more! o.o'' )

f

>.> you called....?..oh wait...nah I just got a notification about some "zaira" person claim she's "new"..
Ya know we are about the same age (member wise)...I wonder if we get a special cake or cookie...mmm...cookies...
It's ok, were still noobs though, I mean we only joined like...psh, 3 years ago..?
Not like these old people who joined a whole couple weeks(or day) ago..It's crazy isn't it?!

Btw - No I have not surrendered to you YET! I will never YIELD to you! It's still on baby....it's still on! *craws into lil cardboard box fort*

f

All the links and files have been completely redone. All the files have been re-uploaded to a new file host and are now working properly. Widget has been updated with new content as well. More content is planned, so check back often for updates! Enjoy!

*Updates Include:
-Complete Shakugan no Shana Second Season Episodes
-Complete Shakugan no Shana Second album collection
-Shakugan no Shana - Hot Springs Special OVA
-Shanatan mini series

*The first season is in the works as we speak. As of right now all we have is the second season completed. Sorry if this causes any inconvenience.

(If you have any questions, comments, concerns please contact me. The links are automatically updated constantly on the widget (sometimes w/o notice). Please support all the groups (e.i SS-Eclipse and Nipponsei) involved in bring us this content for your enjoyment. Thank you!)

f

Finished the series...and if they killed off Setsuna...grr..going to have to make a visit to Japan. >.>
The series overall was great! Best fight scenes that I've seen in a Gundam so far. However it was the storyline which kept me hooked, the amount of drama and suspense was insane! At the end of almost every episode I was banging my head on my desk thinking OMG wheres the next episode!?!

Overall I cannot wait until the second season in October!

I've already upgraded to Vista as well. And I must say I haven't had ANY problems. I currently have the Ultimate Edition. I don't have a full DX10 card (yet), only a Asus Dual 7950 GTS and it runs Vista perfectly fine. I'm actually finding Vista a bit easier to work with then XP. I will admit there are a couple of problems with Vista atm - first you really need to upgrade your computer, you cannot run Vista with less then 2GB of RAM or an outdated GFX card, this means you'll at least need a later 7-series card or a higher ATi card (sorry, don't know ATi by memory) - secondly Vista has a REALLY annoying security feature that asks you to click Accept or Cancel just about EVERY time you do something...and no I don't know how or if you can turn if off - thirdly yes it is in desperate need of SP1 (Which is coming out in mid-March) - the four and final and major complaint I have with Vista is that not all games are Vista compatible...I mean, yes there is a option to run the older versions of Windows to enable the games to work, however not all games work with Vista at all, you especially need to be careful of MMOs.
Vista has been kind to me actually, so I really can't complain. No errors, no crashes, no bugs, nothing. I think the main problem is that most people are having problems because they just don't know wtf they are doing, Vista isn't just some OS you can pop in and hope for the best. You have to prepare yourself for it and it does take some sacrifices in order to get it running at it's best.

Square Enix isn't going to remake any FF games for the PS3, using the new engine. The head of Square Enix already announced there is NO plans whatsoever to remake any of them using the new engine. Square Enix also announced that since this year marks FF 20th year, they claim that all plans to make future remakes or new games related to any game lower then FF12 are here by dropped...this even includes the famous FF:VII, which the series officially ends this year, the Final Final Fantasy VII is suppost to come out later this year, however once that is out there will be no more games made relating to the series. This is due to the XIII Project that is going to last for the next 10 years, which does include 3 new titles and a 4th title that is a MMO in development. During this 10 year project all other FF relating games are suppost to be put on hold or cancelled until further notice. The only exception to this is the FF games ported to the DS and the Crystal Chronicles game that is suppost to come out later. Square Enix announced that since this 10 year plan is officially start once FF:XIII comes out, there is still time, but once it starts, almost all the development effort will go to the 8 titles that were listed at E3. This does even however effect the next Kingdom Hearts game, however that is on hold as of right now due to believe it or not - Final Fantasy Versus XIII, which is being developed by the Advent Children Team, Kingdom Hearts Team, and the directors of Final Fantasy 10 and 12. Thats pretty much the big reason why there is no FF:VII remake coming out...ever...

Thank you very much on the info. That helps a lot. The problem with my card is that for some unknown reason it isn't able to support Vista. I could be wrong, but when I looked into my card it claims the Asus version cannot support Vista,(which must be why they discontinued it) that is why I was wondering if upgrading to the 8800 sometime later this year would be a wise choice. I was also thinking of getting the new Asus 8800 version of the cards since I haven't had any problems with Asus cards(mostly I like the silent and performance upgrades) so far, however like the stock ones, there was multiple types and I was confused on them. So thanks a bunch! (Also about the resolution, my monitor is running 1366x768 currently)

If Asus says your card is not support because of DirectX 10, then that is a very poor excuse to
force users to get new cards. Most card will run on Vista except for those that does not
support the Aero Glass (Unless you got Vista Home Basic then Aero Glass is not supported at all). The minimum card to run this fancy inteface is the GeForce FX5200 (ATi: Radeon 9500). As for your 7800gtx as well as any other 7800gtx out there, it could be in it's EOL status which is why Asus discontinued it.
A manufacture needs to forward, not continue to make old cards if they are doing so then it's just a
waste of time and resources. If you still can wait, then wait for the G98 series to come out. If you need
a card now then go with the 8800s.

Sorry for the slight off topic here...

Haha, yea this is slightly off topic. Well, I guess I'll wait and see the what the G98 series has, since I don't need a card right this second. Well, I still could be wrong about my card not being able to support Vista, since its only based on what I heard. What I'll try to do is get Vista before I upgrade my card, if it runs without that many problems, I'll keep the card for at least another year or so, then look into upgrading to the newer cards since they should be getting price drops sooner or later. Also thanks for the info. It will come in handy when I start building a new computer for my brother, since he does way more gaming then me(he's been bugging me about Vista, graphics cards, etc...) and I do a work,video/photo editing on mine.

To be honest, if any anime exceeds 50 episodes then something is going to happen to the quality of the anime...and it usually isn't good....Take bleach for example, episodes 1-58 were awesome, but after that it turned ugly, too many fillers and they just waste our time watching episodes that have no interest or even connect to the main plot..(its rather annoying). There are times when 26 episodes aren't enough though, I think only after an anime stops after 26 episodes and still has some plot left to make more will it be ok. In the case of Tsubasa Chronicles though..(and don't kill me for saying this :P)..it became more and more painful to watch the episodes in the second season, which was really disappointing since the manga was good, I figured the anime would do well since it was Clamp we were talking about...man was I sadly mistaken. Series like Naruto, Bleach, and Inuysha with over 150+ to 240+ episodes...now thats just overkill.

Hmm...well the problem is that there really isn't much in games that use DX10, plus we won't see a true DX10 game until later this year around Nov 16.(Crysis)...Not to mention, it seems most developers are avioding DX10 until they can get used to the technology, though still new, there really isn't much in DX10 games that are going to come out. Most of the current DX10 games look the same on DX9 systems, the only difference being some slight color shades. But other then that, you'll also need Vista to even use DX10, and atm it is sorta pointless to upgrade. I haven't really heard of any good reviews about Vista and it still has the same problems as XP, plus you need to do some actual work to make a DX9 only game support or even run on a DX10 hardware.

Though, overall would you rather recommend a 7900 series or just upgrade to the more expensive 8800 series? If the 8800 series, which one...? Cause the different 8800 cards still sorta confuse me..

IMHO
Since you got yourself a 7800gtx, then upgrading yourself to a 8800 series card because
going for a 7900 series card will be pointless.

Using a 8800 series card does not necessarily mean you'll have to go with Vista.
Most users got a DirectX 10 card is because they went with Vista. But what about those
who does not plan to upgrade to Vista for the next 5 years or so. Does that mean, they can't get a
8800 series card? Of course not, some people got it and still use XP is because of its performance over
its previous generations.

A 8800gts which is the Nvidia's 2nd best card and it's still able to out perform the best
7900 series card which is the 7900gtx.

Now with that said, Nvidia cooked up 4 8800 series for you to drool on.

The 8800gts 320mb, 8800gts 640mb, 8800gtx, and 8800Ultra

Both the GTS 320mb and 640mb contains the same exact specs
96 Stream Processors, 320bit memory interface, 500MHz (core) and
1.6Ghz on ram (effective). The only difference between both is
the ram size they use. One uses 320mb while the other uses 640mb.

Both cards are similar in performance, but that is when games that requires
more ram, then 8800gts 640mb will have the advantage.

Now the 8800gtx and 8800Ultra also both have the same specs except
the core and ram clock on the Ultra is clock faster.

They both got 128 stream processors, 384bit memory interface,
and 768mb of ram.

Also going with one of these cards depends on what type of monitor your running on.
You'll need a high resolution monitor in order for you to see the advantage of these cards
and 1024x768 isn't one of them.

Note that these cards requires at least 30amps on the +12v rail or combined +12v rails from
your power supply.

For a better perspective as to which card is best for you.
Use this as a guide

As for driver on your card, you can go to the Nvidia driver download page to get drivers for your card. The current one as of now is version 168.12

Quote by thatoneguy1I have a Evga 8600gt video card 256mb. It's a decent card but i heard the 7950gt was better.

Correct, a 7950gt is better because of it's 256bit memory interface as compare
to 8600GT's small 128bit memory interface. The only advantage for
the 8600 series is support for DirectX 10.0 and shader model 4.0
The downside is by the time DirectX 10.1 comes out. All current
DirectX 10 hardware will not support it (including the 8800gtx and Ultra). But that didn't stop me from getting a Ati HD 2900xt (the 1GB version).

DirectX 10.1 is only as good as if the developer writes game for it
otherwise your dx10 cards still got tons of life in it.

Old gpu: 6600gt

hmm....I heard the 8800gtx have a lot of problems and the drivers aren't good....?
Oh, I have the Asus N7800GTX TOP :D
I'm surprised at all the FX users though. I love my card, though finding the right drivers for it is a pain...

f

Gran Turismo 4
Ratchet and Clank series/Jak series
Ace Combat 5
Kingdom Hearts 2
Dark Cloud 2/Rogue Galaxy
Valkyrie Profile 2
(thats sorta in order...its actually pretty hard to seriously think of a TOP favorite...too many games, hehe)

There isn't any official announcement about KH3, however there are clues there will be a third installment. The sercet ending for KH2 Final Mix isn't related to KH3 though. The next KH game will be PS3, and most likely using the same engine Square Enix is using on the FFXIII and Versus XIII, however there also news that Versus XIII might also be a direct like between KH and the FF universe based on it's name there is a good chance, plus looking at the production staff which involves the makers of FF7 Advent Children(doing the cinimatics), Kingdom Hearts(doing combat system and story directing), and FFX/XII(directing story). As for an official KH3, it is still unclear, however they did announce that they will do something after KH2 because they mentioned the ending with the message from the king, so the next game will pick up where KH2 left off, there is also news of another KH game coming out before KH3, which will involve the side characters, but it will tie in with the main overall story of the KH universe, it will just be with different characters in a different story. However, I can almost garentee you KH3 will be for the PS3, however the KH with the side characters might be for PS2 or another platform since it is planning already and is suppost to be announced later this year.

personally i haven't come across very many good dubs. Though the Ghost in the Shell series have been the best so far for me (then again most of Project I.G's animes have been dubbed well). Also I once watched Desert Punk in english and japanese, and there are some rare cases like this one where the english actually sounds better...But overall I would ALWAYs perfer the japanese version. But if you look at Bleach, thats a poor dub..I'm sorry but the characters are emotionless and sound like they would rather become a zombie then spend more time talking.

Here in Florida(Orlando), anime has recently made a huge effect. Theres now more then 4 channels with anime on it, not to mention theres Adult Swim that air most of the good anime later night. When i first started middle school it was known by little throughout the school. But when i got into the 2nd year of middle school and the beginning of 8th grade it started to become well know. Almost everyone had at least 1 manga with them and now we have huge anime conventions like Megecon. The Anime Club at my high school is huge also, even people that you think hate anime are there. Most people know what anime is and just ignore it if they dislike it. But its not just for kids now, alot of adults are starting to get into it. With more anime being licensed by Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, and some of the major movie networks like Starz and HBO we are going to see more and more. We even have stores with whole sections with anime dvd's and manga.

f

its not really possible for a game to have sexy characters and be fun.The only reason why they put it in there is because they want to steal your money.I only buy games that are good, not for the characters, thats stupid and a waste of money.Overall they will not stop making thme because its human nature to go after that different sex and people will do anything. Its never going to stop unless all games start putting in fully clothed women and gay guys.I asked people why they like some games and they all told me either the game was good or the character was hot.You should never buy a game like that ever, you'll end up going back and buying another because of the girls and people waste a lot of money because of that and it should stop.Overall the only reason they put half naked chicks in them if becuase they want your money, thats it....sry its so long.
