10.00 (excellent) | God I love this anime...idk if that makes me criminally insane or just creepy since the plot...wow the plot. The series starts out as your typical school romance anime, nothing fishy. Makoto falls for Katsura, guy's friend Sekai helps him get girl...then BAM! Guy gets desperate for the lack of skinship and turns towards Sekai who is willing to give everything to him for her own selfish needs. During which the entire school finds out and Katsura is basically thrown into an emotional wreck while Makoto cheats with Sekai. The anime keeps you guessing, however if you seen a lot of Adult Drama films, the ending will come as a bit of a surprise seeing as it was so graphic they ended up getting banned from airing it and had to even release a censored version via DVD Bonus material...Still, if you can somehow track the anime down via internet or media outlet, do watch it...just be warned...it's not for the faith hearted... | ||

8.50 (very good) | There still quite a bit of mystery about the plot, even though they are 11 episodes into the series I still feel as though we have a long way to go before we actually get to the main antagonist. Regardless however, the most recent episodes gave us huge insight into what appears to be an actual plot! So far though, the characters are pretty interesting and the animation is pretty high quality stuff...even though you do notice it dips during combat. | ||

7.50 (good) | God I hope Key-kun gets his harem...even if he doesn't get the prez..the three others are still waaaay worth it in the end...Regardless, most of the plot in the anime is non-existent, up until the recent couple of episodes (ep 10-11) which really started to hit the despressing side of the story and really develop the sad part of the character's happy lives, primarily the male lead Key-kun, which has a dark and mysterious past which has yet to be revealed...however the more his past tends to haunt him, the more the people around him come to terms with him and begin to accept him for who he is. | ||

Even going to the extreme of transforming into a girl to sneak into the girl's bath just to see...and touch...their breasts...oh it's so awesome. Not to mention...exploding panties...omg...exploding panties...which also flew btw...yes...flew...as in...they were like...birds! Just...wow, awesomeness to the extreme! Seriously, don't watch the anime if you expect an awesome and/or deep storyline, because for 90% of the time, it's non-existent... | ||

Things really start to drag on into the second season as well. Sure the art and voice acting is excellent, but the plot isn't really there... I just cannot connect to these characters nor can I understand the whole perspective of things until AFTER they state the obvious... | ||

8.50 (very good) | God Lag's is such a cry-baby...while yes it will drive you to the point of dropping the series...don't! There is so much character depth and high quality animation it would be a pain to turn away! With Gauche still missing, Lag's sets out with Niche (Lag's Dingo...) w/ Steak in hopes of becoming Head Bee and finding out the truth behind Gauche's disappearance. The story is slow in the beginning, but it's worth sticking out since the animation department is putting such high value into this series it's just worth it to look at the backgrounds and character designs. | ||

So far it's a great romance comedy, involving quite a bit of echii here and there, but I actually have to take back the tamed echii part...in some episodes it's more like kiddy porn then anything else since it just doesn't work...(if you know what I mean...) and it kinda gets boring and repetitive rather quickly. The laughs are all there, and the jokes while good for the most part, just lead to bad echii attempts which leave you...dull...and empty... | ||

8.00 (good) | Based off a game published by SEGA, the anime extends parts of the game which are otherwise just talking and a battle scenario. It gave a lot more character development and background which is otherwise just left to one's imagination while playing the game. That is not to say this is better then the game however, since the graphics just don't translate as well over to the anime series as they do with the game. Instead they dip down to somewhat horrible and unrecognizable blobs during some episodes. The story also does not follow directly the same path as the game either, given the game had a very simply layout, the anime tried to improve on this and made things rather complex and confusing at times. Still, worth a watch for anyone who has played the game. | ||
